Kellie's Castle

Kellie's castle...never thought that there is a castle in the state of Perak, near Batu Gajah and is about 20 minutes drive from Ipoh. Started my journey at noon, and took me two hours to reach there. To reach there, exit Simpang Pulai toll and turn left after the toll and drive straight untill you see a sign board wriiten with Kellie's castle name.

The construction of this mansion began in the year of 1915 during the time of British Occupation of Malaya. 1915 - 2010 is about almost 100 years wow!!! This mansion was built by William Kellie Smith who was a wealthy Scottish planter for his wife, Agnes Smith and their first child, Helen Agnes. However this house was ruin during the world war II and whats left was only the foundation and parts of the wall.

William Kellie Smith hired about 70 Indians from madras, South India as skilled labourers for the constuctionof the mansion. During the construction, a virus fle struck and killed many of the workers.

Emmmm, this mansion is haunted. Don't go there at night, but the people in charge there don't allow you to go in anyway cause the mansion opens daily from 9am to 6pm. =]

There have been many myths or legends or rumors spreading around about the mysterious castle. Some say there have been lot of spirit wondering around the castle since worker die during the construction and world war II. I am very curious on the notice around the mansion during my visits. One of it wrttien, william's spirit is believed wondering around the corridor (first and second floor) but the fact is that he died of pneumonia in Lisbon, Portugal at the age of 56. His soul flew back here??? hhmmppp....

Besides the mansion, there is a tree name bear tree, it looks like a bear hugging the tree but I don't really see it as is the bear hugging it, maybe the shape run away already... =P

Sekinchan Paddy Field

Driving out from KL to sekinchan took me bout 2 hours journey. Sekinchan is known as the ricebowl of Malaysia with a lot of paddy fields and some pretty interesting fishing villages. It is a good and shiny day. ^ ^

An hour flight from Subang airport with a 15 minutes boat ride on the blue sea to Japamala resort, Tioman island. Is time to enjoy the holidays. woohooooo~ Easily the most romantic place for couples.

Tanjung Sepat

When my friend decides to treat us lunch or dinner, Jogoya was the first word that reach my ear. Wow, so expensive for him as his first ever salary spend us to Jogoya. Well then, I suggest to them that we go for sea food at Tanjung Sepat.

Tanjung Sepat is a small town in Kuala Langat, Selangor. It is on straits of Malacca. This town primarily a fishing town and well known locally for its many seafood restaurants. Recently I heard from radio, this place have seafood "Bak Kut Teh" but i can't seem to find it.

I went there for lunch and Restoran Hong Seng Bay Seafood was our destination. The seafood is cheap there we order 4 plate of dishes including prawns, oyster, stim fish, squid, and a soup. Total for the lunch was rm90. Hows that!!

After lunch, we plan to go for a "pau"(bun) dessert but fail to find it. They said the "pau" (bun) was very delicious and famous. This shop visited by the HongKong eat expert. Ever since then, the busines rise up to 80% sales...wow!! Must go try it someday.

After that, we headed straight to Bagan Lalang, a places near Tanjung Sepat, is about 15 - 20 mins ride. This place is nice, windy, and there have a resort, not sure whats the name. Well, there are lot of people playing kite at the seaside. A nice place to hangout too. hehe.

Mille Crepe

My first taste of mille crepe was in section 17, Petaling Jaya. Nothing much to describe except "great". As I heard that it was originally was from Malacca, I started to wonder how true it is. So During the holidays, I went for a visit to Malacca.

The shop called Nadeje, it is blue in color and not much space in that shop. Somehow, I manage to find the place after saving the address that I found on internet.

Emmm, basically it just beside Mahkota Parade, but I round and round and round all over that area, haha. Not familiar with the place I guess. Sooner as I found that place, without any hesitation, I ordered one slice on each of the flavor. Total 6 slices. Personally I like the original crepe. They are selling it for RM8.50.

There are total of 16 layers of crepes and thin later of cream sandwiched between each layers. The balance of crepes make me feel not too creamy and I feel the soft and sweetness at the excellent level. Just nice.

Portuguese Village, Malacca

I heard bout this village from my friend and did come research on it. I found that this village is beside the sea and there are 8 seafood restaurants there. Heard it was famous, so I decides to have a try.

This place bout 10 minutes drive from Equatorial Hotel, but my friends and I been guide by the hotel receptionist (not Equatorial Hotel) to use a longer route to this village. We almost reach Muar, Johor already...pathetic.

After few failure of directions (following the guide from the receptionist), we reach the place and have a walk beside the sea. Basically everything there was in the rebuilding process.

Here comes bout the food part. One word to describe it, NORMAL, nothing special, can eat, the seafood quite fresh. taste so so only. Nothing much to comment about accept I think this place is specially made for tourist. I mean tourist from oversea. hoho...

Well if you have not been there, can have a trip there. Not too often as I bet that other place's seafood are much better.

Exercising make you fat?

Fats fats go away~~ how how? tell me how?

Instead of melting off the fats by exercising, it will add more of it. Wth~ Recently I came across with an article stated bout it. Those who believe that jogging, brisk walking, jungle-tracking, or hitting the gym will make you slim and lean, well, think again fellas. Studies are now been cited to show that you actually gain weight exercising.

Let's face the facts in reality life, exercise makes us hungry and we simply want to reward our self after a hard work of exercise. So we actually eat more then our body able to burn. On my weekly sports, I will go for swimming or basketball and, I always eat after that. The next activity is, me and my friends will have a cup of coca-cola (free flow) and french fries at Mc Donald and chill out there after a heavy and challenging basketball. What's the conclusion? We gain more weight. =\ We add more fats instead of burning it.

Take another example, how much time needed to burn off a 360-calorie blueberry muffin for a 70 kg, 30-year old women? She needs 66 minutes of lean mowing, 77 minutes of cycling at an easy pace, 92 minutes of vacuuming and 115 minutes of weightlifting. Now mind what you eat the next time after exercise.

Let's think again the meal after exercising or don't exercise at all? =D

Final Fantasy Versus Xlll

Hi guys, I am a FF fans and bump into this trailer, check this FF Versus Xlll trailer, this is so cooooollll...~!!!!!

The trailer opens with a three car motorcade traveling on the lower deck of a double decker highway leading into a metropolis. The Prince is seen within one of the vehicles, emotionless. The trailer then cuts into the scene from last trailer where in the Prince walks outside the building to hundreds of soldiers. Unlike the previous trailer, as the Prince materializes his weapons, he rapidly engages the soldiers by himself using a wide variety of his weapons. As the Prince breaks a soldiers neck he imposes his weapon barrier in front of a dozen advancing soldiers. Their bullets are reflected, thus shooting themselves.

Next the Prince teleports into the air to engage soldiers repelling down the building. As he falls to eliminate one soldier he teleports back into the air to engage more also teleports to where he throws his sword. Before teleporting to the front of the building the Prince impales a repelling soldier as blood virtually bursts from the soldiers back. Rocket Propelled Grenades are fired upon him, but once more the Prince's barrier of weapons keeps the him unscathed. The trailer ends with the Prince practically dismissing the soldiers meager efforts as he returns to his thrown.

This few keys bring more clearer to me when my colleague ms.Tisubox show me a wiki website on Konami Code. This keys remind me of the game that I use to play when I small. Those contra, Super C, Contra 4, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, event lastest game like Death, Jr. 2:Root of Evil (PSP) uses this key. In Death, Jr. 2:Root of Evil, on the pause menu, holding L and pressing this Konami Code with replace of B, A to X, O provides the player with all weapons and weapons upgrades. Almost all Konami games able to perform this codes which significantly affects gameplay.

Konami Code was created by Kazuhisa Hashimoto, who developing the home port of the 1985 arcade game Gradius. Cause the game was too difficult, so he created a cheat code which gives the player full set of power-ups, which are normally attained gradually thoughout the game. Taman Pertanian Bukit Cahaya Seri Alam

I visited Taman Pertanian a.k.a Bukit Cahaya a.k.a Bukit Cherakah on weekend. This park is Malaysia Agriculture Park which opened to public in 1986 and located in Shah Alam, Selangor. There are many gardens in this park amongst which are the Orchid Garden, Bamboo Garden, Rabbit Garden etc. The operating hours is from 8.30am to 4.30om and the entrance fees are RM3.00 for adult and RM1.00 for children 4 to 11 years old and RM1.00 for 55 years and above. Close on Monday except for public holiday and school holiday. We also can camp inside this park. Beside cycling and camping, they have paintball and skytrex. Paintball area are quite big and looks challenging while the skytrex. Woooow looks very tall, as tall as 10 metres high.

I have been there for few times. Is really a nice place to hang out. Is is big and impossible to visit the whole area just by walking. It take ages to complete. =] Cycling might be a good choice to visit the whole area but beware of your buttocks because the bicycle seat are hard. I suffer from the pain for few days. hohoho ~~

Fullmetal Alchemist (FMA) : Brotherhood is back !!!. The story is almost similar with the previous FMA but this time round the anime decides to follow the manga. For those who not familiar with FMA, I give some short summary. =P

Two brothers lose their mother to an incurable disease. With the power of "alchemy", they use taboo knowledge to resurrect her, but the process fails, and as a trade for using this alchemy, the older brother, Edward Elric loses his left leg while the younger brother, Alphonse Elric loses his entire body. To save his brother, Edward sacrifices his right arm and is able to affix his brother's soul to a suit of armor. With the help of a family friend, Edward receives metal limbs - "automail" - to replace his lost ones. With that, Edward vows to search for the Philosopher's Stone to return the brothers to their original bodies, even if it means becoming a "State Alchemist", one who uses his/her alchemy for the military.

Is kind of adventure, comedy, drama and fantasy type of anime. =]

Try it, is The opening theme song for this FMA: Brotherhood is "again" by YUI and the ending theme song is Uso (Lie) by SID. Nice songs !!!.. I love YUI's song especially. Her song choosen for Bleach theme song too, Life and Rolling Star.

Ben & Jerry Ice Cream. Afternoon 4++pm, work time, my mind was quiet overload with work and decided to take a break. So I went to pantry and open up the freezer and found ice-cream. Is Ben & Jerry ice-cream chocolate flavor.

Okok the freezer seems empty and only the ice-cream in the middle. You all must have thought that I making up the story. haha. In fact my office freezer is that empty. I didn't taste this ice-cream before so decided to have a few scopes and WOW!! Is delicious !!!

Miki Ojisan No Mise. Did you guys heard it before?.. Well, this is the name of an outlet in 3rd Floor Isetan, Suria KLCC. We can find this outlet at Bangsar Village Ground Floor too.

What so special on this outlet? This would be extremely good news for the cheese cake lover out there because Mike Ojisan No Mise made extremely nice cheese cake. IS CHEEEEESEEEEE CAKE yo~~~

They use fresh ingredients without additional preservatives and is low in fat and sugar. It is nutritious. =] Good choice for everyone now with the trend of healthy living and healthy food. Once you bought, you can only enjoy it within three days else the cake will expired.

I bought two cakes. One is plain cheese cake and another is lemon cheese cake. The plain cheese cake cost around rm17 for small and rm19 for a big. For those lover, they can buy a love shape cake too. ; ] As to those flavor cake like the one I bought (lemon cheese cake) cost around rm50.

This is the plain cheese cake with their symbol on top. =] Previously I heard that they have two types, original and chocolate cheese cake, but I didn't notice any sign of chocolate there. The texture was soft and light and absolutely delicious that makes me wants more.

And this is the lemon cheese cake I choose. Is kinda plain as it looks but is really nice. Is like what people said "don't judge a book by it's cover". This cake look plain but the light taste of cheese combine with lemon and fresh cream make it simply irresistible. My family finish it within one night. Suit for older people too as the taste is not so heavy.

Broga Hill, Let's Go !!

"Wow!!!!", the first word that came out from my mouth after I saw a photo taken from my friend. It was Broga hill that made one of the many interesting things I have bumped into. Two weeks later, I am at the broga hill.

The Broga hill located at Semenyih, a small town south of Kajang. It is quite easy to go if you googling hard enough. There maybe one or two direction that you must take note on the way there. I personally used the LDP ( Lebuhraya Damansara Puchong ) to reach there.

On Saturday, I woke up at 3.45am, getting myself ready and GO~~!!...to fetch two of my friends at Subang and then straight to Puchong (another staying at Puchong). Around 5am, we depart from Puchong using the way heading to Putrajaya. After passing the rm1.60 toll, head straight up and look for the Kajang signboard. After turning right, will be at SKVE highway. We go straight up passes UNITEN and reach SILK highway and We passes two rm1.00 toll. After the 2nd rm1.00 toll, take notice to the sign board "Rinching" (if not mistaken the spelling) and follow it. This turning is quite confuse because the signboard with Semenyih pointed straight up ahead but actually not far from there, there is another signboard with Rinching and Semenyih pointing the arrow to left. Many people will miss out this turning and go straight. Finally reach Jalan Semenyih. I drove ahead till I reach the second Petronas station and turn left to Nottingham University. When I see the university, I know that I am on the right track to Broga. I drove further inside reach the rabbit farm. I parked my car beside the rabbit farm and at 6.30am, hiking begins!!!

At the palm oil tree entrance, many car parked there, I guess not only my group to Broga hill. We took 10 minutes pass the oil palm tree, and about 30 minutes to the top hill.

Walk of Hope @ CapSquare, Earth Hour

I didn't really think of joining this event at CapSqaure. I was only thinking to switch off the light at home that time that day, until mr.Underforce called me up 2 weeks from the earth hour day. He even bought the tickets on that day itself. Well, is a nice day to hangout with friends on this meaningful event. A lot of my friends are there including ms.Little Lazy worm, (wow..thought she lazying around at home only..), ms.Piggy, mr.Fatty, mr.Viagra, ms.Voiceless, ms.miao miao, ms.may and mr.cool. At first I thought the ticket is a must to have in order to join this walk, but it end up, the ticket just to redeem earth hour T-shirt, CDs, recycled goodies bag and hand band. I would have invited ms.fishy to go if the ticket is not compulsory. Sigh... -.-

Anyway, the walk did not start exactly 6pm as it state. It start around 7pm and the walk takes around 5 to 10 minutes (so short), so different from the information I received which is 30 minutes. Nothing much to do except waiting for the walk to start.

Left out redemption gift was a...CD!!!. Anyway, the ticket money is donated to WWF so I don't mind at all whether I got the T-shirt or not. Is a miss thou.

STARTS!!!! yeah.. Each of us handed a cup with a candle inside. We walk with it. Not bad huh. ms.Piggy went and take half dozen of candle incase the candle finish. -.-!!

The walk begins, but the road seems so bright. Walk ends after 10minutes and the count down of earth hour begins. 8.30pm sharp all the lights off and the concert in the dark begins.

The concert starts and my candle light dinner starts too. YUmmyyyYYyyyy~~~~ One hour are not that long. The lights on at 9.30pm and the concerts still on going and I finished my yummy food.

And that's all for the earth hour day. =)

Another new production of Nokia, the Nokia 5800 Xpressmusic, is the further enhancement of the previous Xpresssmusic version which emphasizes music and multimedia playback. This Nokia 5800 is way better then previous Xpressmusic with S60 5Th Edition device, touch screen, better quality of sounds, wider screen, extra functionality such as 3G, image slide viewer, wifi and the style of playing mobile game is different too. It is almost like an iPhone but a cheap version of it. Incomparable to iPhone of course. duh~ haha. I bought this phone few months ago after making some research and some "you tubing" on the use of it's function. After much of understanding bout this Nokia 5800, I bought it without any hesitation and guess what?I have NO REGRETS on it. Yeah.~~ The price is in range of rm1.2k - 1.4k. In my opinion, it WORTH the price. With the 3.2 inch 16:9 wide screen, 640 x 360 pixels, 3.2 mega pixels camera with auto focus, two camera (front and back), bluetooth, wifi, 3G, free 1000 songs, two stylus,.... Aaaarghh I am tired of listing the functionality already. Go Google and look for the function by your own self. Just few weeks I bought this phone, "wth" !!, I notice so many people have this phone. Few of my friends already bought it. "wth"! "wth"!

Last Saturday morning, I saw a post message from my friend bout this hot air balloon fiesta on Putrajaya. Without any hesitation, I inform my friend bout this event after checking out the details on net. It held on 21 and 22 of March 2009, 7am to 9pm. The hot air balloon starts around 5pm. When I reach there, I see nothing but an empty field.

After 15minutes later, I saw few people start to prepare the basket or gondola.
After they settle up the basket, they starts to test out their burner.
Sooner the crowd starting to filling up the event area.
and finally it starts. Yeah !!

And this is the rising of clown balloon. Scary actually and don't seems nice to me.

Other balloon rising up as well, the yellow balloon is from Malaysia and the clown balloon from Belgium.

Clown balloon is flying and The MasterCard balloon flies without a basket.

Beside the balloon stated "To Vincent". Wonder who is Vincent and why dedicate to Vincent. :P

Opsss forget to mention that the crowd is uncontrollable as they started to entered the event area.

They take the chances to snap photos and look more closer, and of course I join the crowd. :P

Well dude, lets have a break with Nescafe~~~

Peacock balloon lifting up in the evening and it is the last balloon on that day. Somehow it didn't manage to lift up, which same goes to Nescafe and elephant balloon. Maybe cause the sky is getting dark. Too bad. =( Anyway, it is a nice fiesta, hanging out with friends in the Saturday evening and suprisingly ms.Little Lazy Worm was there too and she come together with mr.Underforce.

The Haunted Hospital of Fujikyu Highland Park, Japan

Fujikyu Highlands was one of my visits during my holiday in Japan. Fujikyu Highlands a.k.a Fuji-Q Highlands is well known in Fujiyoshida, Yamanashi, Japan. This theme park located near the beautiful scenario of Mount Fuji and it also famous for the most extreme and thrilling roller coasters.

Haunted hospital is one of the attraction in Fuji-Q Highlands. The Japanese love hunted houses and well, is true!. This haunted house apparently is a hospital and it is believe that they remade the exact building as the real hospital which is believed to be haunted. They made a superb walk through in the hospital with only charges of additional 500 Yen.

There isn't many people queue up for that haunted house when I was there. Before start the walk through, they first give u an introduction which i don't quite exactly understand what it is all about as they speak in Japanese. =P After the 10 min brief, I was brought into a small theater and a short documentary was played as an introduction. I think they trying to give us some feel of horror. After that, each group of visitor is issued a flashlight and I was guided by the only walkway throughout the journey.

I passes room after room which full of blood stain, overturned lap equipment and followed by the horror stereo sounds. My group consisting of 6 person with only two guys and four girls.

I guarding behind the line and the other guy lead the ways. As I come into a room, there is a ghost...hermm..not ghost..or I should call it actor portraying insane look sitting on the bed yelling. Is very creepy, we make our step faster and we came into a narrow hallway. There is an effected by virus (actor) monster in the middle of hallway. He didn't make any movement as we passed by but for some distance, I looked back and shocked and scream loudly as that monster start walking and then run toward us. That freaking ugly monster stop chasing us as we exited the hallway. The route getting darker and the environment really makes me scared to death. We returned the flashlight at some stage and we thought it was all over with this haunted house but surprisingly there is still long way up ahead. It's dark and we barely see a thing.

We run all the way to the exit door without a second thought and well, I am out of the haunted hospital at last. I feel relieved and hungry.ha~ ha~

It's a great great great experiences for me and I will remember it forever.

Earth Hour, 8.30pm - 9.30pm, 28 March 2009

There is an event on 28 March 2009 at 8.30pm to 9.30pm which thousands of cities and towns across the world will turn off their lights for one hour. This action to reduce the greenhouse gas emissions for the short and long term benefit of the earth.

This event was started in Sydney, Australia 2007 where all the lights were turn off for an hour. Sooner it spread across 370 cities and towns in more then 35 countries across 19 timezone.

Hope billions of people around the world will switch off their lights for the earth hour. Please participate in this meaningful events. One person's contribution would mean a lot to the earth. So let us do our part and save the world. (wow!! is something like save the cheerleader, save the world..haha) REDUCE the greenhouse gas emission. go! go!.

Come on everyone, let's do our part. Don't be lazy fellas. =P

Eyeshield #21

Never give a thought that American Football is so interesting. After watch this anime, I even know how to play by the rules. My first impression to this sport was a rough game, but it wasn't show that way.

This story is about a boy name Sena Kobayakawa who spent his life complying with the demands of bullies. Sooner he was discovered by his high school American football team captain Yoichi Hiruma and forces Sena to join Deimon Devil Bats as his team's running back. Sena fast pace ability become a new rising stars among the high school football.

Besides that, there are few funny characters like The Three Ha-Ha Brothers, Kazuki Jumonji , Koji Kuroki and Shozo Togano. They 3 are not brothers but always being called as brothers and constantly re-affirming that they are not brothers cause they constantly together. They three are line defences post in the team.

Eyeshield 21 is name after the main character, Sena who wears an eyeshield helmet to keep his identity as mystery. While the football uniform he is wearing is number 21.

The Loaf, Cheese Cake

Cheese cake!! One of my favorites...

Ms.little lazy worm bought for me this cake last few days after her 1st interview. I miss this cake a lot ever since I tasted it. I think she bought from The Loft, heard that this shop opened by our beloved ex prime minister Dr.Mahathir. Pavilion is the second shop and the origin is at Langkawi. Well, I don't care what history it is, what I gonna say is, this cheese cake is very very nice and even tastier when it is cold.

It seems like a cup cake, when I am eating it, I feel like eating icecream because it is inside the cup and when i eating it, I feel the cake melt slowly on my tongue and the sweetness of chocolate plus the taste of cheese make me WANTS MORE.

Opss guess I over described. hahaha

Stamp "denda"

I once encounter a question, what's a stamp "denda" anyway?, from my colleague during the "blow water" session about hobbies. Well, I love collecting stamp, and I do have this stamp "denda".

Stamp "denda" is known as stamp postage due, is used for mail sent with insufficient postage. This stamp was introduced due to the customer who make their own decisions about the amount to pay without the assistant of the postal clerk.

The postage due stamps usually have a simple design which only consist large numeral with the word "postage due" to oversea country and "denda" to our country, Malaysia.

Hi all, I came up with this new blog called iceycodez, to replace my old blog, allboutnd, which i stopped for ages with only 2 to 3 posts. Sorry to my friend, ms.Skinny, who encouraged me to start a blog to fill in my free time. ha!. ha!.
